Sandra Mayo is a philanthropist, entrepreneur, strategic leader, and mental health advocate whose life’s work is centered on empowering people, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities for others to thrive. With more than 24 years of executive leadership experience in behavioral and mental health, she has built a distinguished career in operations, strategic planning, business development, community engagement, and organizational growth.
As the Founder and Executive Director of Sandra’s Giving Heart, Sandra leads initiatives focused on awareness, advocacy, education, and support for individuals impacted by human trafficking and exploitation. Her commitment to service is grounded in the belief that meaningful change occurs when compassion, collaboration, and action come together. Sandra is also the Owner and CEO of Novelty Mobile Cigar Bar and holds the designation of Certified Cigar Sommelier Tobacconist (CCST), one of the cigar industry’s most respected certifications. She combines education, culture, and hospitality to create elevated experiences while helping broaden representation within the industry.
A respected business and community leader, Sandra serves on the Advisory Board of the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and was recently featured on the cover of the prestigious Millennium Magazine, recognizing her impact as an entrepreneur, advocate, and change-maker.
For the Puffn Duchess Women’s Leadership & Wellness Summit, Sandra serves as the Conference Strategist and Experience Director, overseeing strategic planning, sponsorship development, speaker and talent relations, partnership cultivation, conference logistics, and attendee engagement. She plays a pivotal role in bringing together influential women from diverse industries while helping shape the vision, growth, and overall impact of the summit. Sandra is also the creative force behind the conference’s signature gala experience. As Gala Curator, she brings the sophistication, elegance, and intentional detail that have become synonymous with the Miss Novelty Experience, transforming the evening into a memorable celebration of leadership, achievement, culture, and sisterhood. Her passion for the Women’s Leadership & Wellness Summit is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: when accomplished women gather with purpose, extraordinary things happen.
